    High-Quality, Hypoallergenic, and Never Plated

When it comes to purchasing gold jewelry, there are a few different options to choose from. It's important to understand the differences between these options so you can make an informed decision about what is best for you.

Here is a breakdown of the three main types of gold jewelry:

❌ Gold Plated: Gold plated jewelry is made by applying a thin layer of gold over a base metal such as brass or sterling silver. This is a more affordable option, but it is not as durable as the other two options. The gold layer can wear off over time, exposing the base metal underneath.

Note: We *do not* plate our jewelry!

✅ Gold Filled: Gold filled jewelry is made with a thick layer of solid gold mechanically bonded to a base metal such as brass or sterling silver. This gives it the look and feel of solid gold, but at a fraction of the cost. Gold filled jewelry is more durable than gold plated and is less likely to chip or flake.

✅ Solid Gold: Solid gold jewelry is made entirely out of gold, with no base metal visible. This is the most expensive option, but it is also the most durable and long-lasting. Solid gold jewelry can be made with different karats of gold, we use 10k and 14k, The higher the karat, the purer the gold and the softer the metal.

There are pros and cons to each type of gold jewelry. Gold plated is the most affordable option, but it is not as durable. Gold filled is a more durable and affordable option, but it is still not as long-lasting as solid gold. Solid gold is the most expensive option, but it is also the most durable and long-lasting. Ultimately, the choice comes down to personal preference and budget.

✅ Sterling Silver: Sterling Silver is an alloy, which means that it is made by combining pure silver with other metallic elements. Sterling silver is created by combining 92.5% pure silver with 7.5% of other metals. The resulting metal is strong, durable, hypoallergenic, and resistant to tarnish.

Sterling silver is a popular choice for jewelry because it is affordable, durable, and easy to work with. It is also resistant to tarnish and can be polished to a high shine. However, it is not as valuable or expensive as pure silver or gold.

    Why switch to sweatproof jewelry?

    1. Durability: Sweat can be corrosive, especially when it is mixed with salt or other chemicals. This can cause regular jewelry to tarnish or rust over time. Sweatproof jewelry is made with materials that are resistant to corrosion, so it will last longer and maintain its shine.

    2. Comfort: Sweating can cause regular jewelry to feel heavy or uncomfortable, especially if it is made with materials that are prone to tarnish or rust. Sweatproof jewelry is usually made with lightweight materials that are comfortable to wear, even during physical activity.

    3. Convenience: If you lead an active lifestyle, you may find it inconvenient to have to constantly remove your jewelry before working out or engaging in other activities that cause you to sweat. Sweatproof jewelry allows you to keep your favorite pieces on, no matter what you are doing.

    4. Hygiene: Sweat can accumulate on regular jewelry, leading to an accumulation of dirt and bacteria. Sweatproof jewelry is easy to clean and maintain, making it a more hygienic choice.

Overall, sweatproof jewelry is a good option for people who want durable, comfortable, and convenient jewelry that is easy to maintain.
